With the shorter muzzle and slender ears, Eevee's anatomy is more akin to that of a cabbit. I don't really view the evolutions as foxes, either. The only one that really looks like a fox is Glaceon, which is probably why it's my second favorite evolution of Eevee. First is Espeon, which is the most cat-like of them all and resembles the nekomata.

Regardless, I still find this picture really adorable! :)

Except fennec foxes don't have that kind of anatomy. The tail's too bushy, the neck fluff (wtf?), the short rabbit limbs, no slender muzzle, long rabbit ears, etc. Eevee doesn't resemble a fox whatsoever, no matter how you look at it. The most they have in common is being furry, quadruped mammals. It's label is also misleading; the fox Pokemon. Even the sounds it makes are short, high-pitch mewls, and foxes certainly don't make cat noises.

Not about to bring Ylvis into this, either. -_-
